Monthly GPCC Rainfall (1986 - Present, Monitoring Product)

This interface is designed for visualization and analysis of the Monthly GPCC Rainfall (1986 - Present, Monitoring Product).
Users can generate plots or ASCII Output for area average (Lat-Lon Map), time series (Time Series), and Hovmoller diagram. The animation is available for Lat-Lon Maps. Selecting here or the Help buttons will open a new window with detailed help. More details about the data are also available.

Data Description

GPCC Monthly Accumulated 1.0° x 1.0° Rainfall Data

The global land precipitation data set on the 1x1 degree grid in its original format is produced by Global Precipitation Climatology Centre (GPCC). The data in a binary format, transformed from the original GPCC data by the GES DAAC, is used in the TOVAS.

Spatial coverage: 90°S - 90°N Global land
Spatial resolution: 1.0° x 1.0°
Temporal resolution: Monthly
